It starts with investigating the company, affiliate program (how it works) and the offer(s) itself. If you don’t believe in the product or offer you are presenting how can you expect anyone else to?

I’m not saying that the affiliate marketing program has to be great to work for you, but, you have to be comfortable with the underlying offer and the ability to convert leads into buyers.

 

RESEARCH

 

Get comfortable with the product/service you’re offering. Read through the sales material.. is it something you would buy? Is it something you’re even interested in? If not, then why did you choose to promote it?

 

STEPS TO BUILDING A CUSTOMER LIST FROM SCRATCH

 

This type of affiliate marketing business can be done with or without a website. Of course I highly recommend that you have a website, I think every marketer should have one. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, just a few (3 or 4) good pages of content.

This is your niche and should be related to the types of affiliate offers you are promoting.

**Step #1**

Choose your niche and the related affiliate offers you wish to promote.. You can have as many affiliate products as you want, but it will be easier for you if they are within the same general niche.

**Step #2**

Write a one page review “Bridge Page” on your website. You can do this by simply rewording their sales page and include whatever relevant information you’d like. You include your afilliate links within the body of the article. On the Bridge Page you’re linking to the affiliate offer.

I’m a list builder. Like every other email marketer, I learned the biz from scratch. When I started list building a couple years ago, I used to lose my shirt.

 

I’d set up a funnel, buy some traffic and LOSE money. It sounds terrible, right? Well within three months, I was able to “fine-tune” and tweak things to make a profit.

 

Most of us know that if you can make a profit in list building — it’s game over. If for every $1 you spend, you make $2. Well, you can build an unlimited subscriber list on near autopilot. But you’re not going to make it to that point overnight.

 

It’s the little things that make the BIG DIFFERENCE! I’ll bet you don’t hear that everyday. It’s small tweaks like these that make the difference between making money and LOSING IT.

 

Over time, you should be able to tweak ONE asset enough to make a profit. Focus on that. Don’t switch to something else.

 

REASON  #4 – INFORMATION OVERLOAD

 

It’s an information age, and it’s spoiling your road to success. Make no mistake about it. This is a problem.

Anybody with half an hour on their hands could learn how to set up hosting. Trying to tell somebody how to make $1,500. 00 in the next 32 seconds is not something you learn in a day. Heck, it’s not something most people learn in a lifetime.

 

The problem is that this information overload is inevitable… it just happens. You should only listen to advice from a mentor that you know you can trust.

 

I show new students every week EXACTLY what I do to make $5k+/month. It’s not rocket science. And it doesn’t include any fluff, BS or falsehoods either. Whether they like it or not, it’s the truth. If they wanted to be lied to they came to the wrong place.

If you run a PPC campaign your average CTR (click through rate) would normally be about 2%. That is not conversion rate, that is the CTR. It’s hard to make money with a 2% CTR.
